You can re-size an entry housing door and somewhat pass it off as a shed door, but that doesn’t mean you should. By modifying a housing door, you modify the proportionality of the panels. House doors are produced specifically to have a proportionate look according to the size, shape and position of its panels. By re-sizing a housing door, you will naturally re-position panels. Thus, leaving too little space from the top/bottom or the sides of the door which will leave the appearance of the door out of proportion.

We have went through the process of completely retooling our molds to produce almost every size door that we make to appear aesthetically correct. This is a cost that the other manufacturers of the shed door suppliers would not care to endure. As such, we have dedicated the core business of our company to cater to the shed industry versus the housing industry. It is important to us to make sure the door (shape/size) that is applied to a shed, adds to the value by being aesthetically correct versus potentially lessening the value by just being a door.

We have considered all fiberglass shed door applications, every potential threat to its durability and built accordingly. We tested our doors against every possible scenario and decided to rebuild them to be even stronger by increasing the thickness of our inner frames.
